Another busy week at Klang, as spring hits Berlin and Madrid, we’re actively working on some new features, while also welcoming new Cultivators and Societies AND fixing and repairing as we do all of the above…Some big cakes are in the oven.
The Numbers
Total Community Playtime: ~20,650 player-hours recorded. Wowsers.
Support Inquiries: 41 tickets (a welcome dip of 21 from last week).
Focus Areas: 26 of those tickets were bug reports, which our team is actively triaging.
The Dev Voice - Ivan
Power engineer Ivan is in the Berlin house, visiting from Malaga. It's great to have him:
"Evans and I are doing a concentrated, deep-dive in person in Berlin, in order for us to improve the current relationship and conversations system. We are polishing the current experience but also implementing prototypes that will give more tools for players to impact the game through Seedling conversations."

The Patch Highlight: Stability & Known Issues
This week, our engineering team focused on "System Housekeeping" and addressing your most pressing concerns:
Governance Stability: We’ve deployed hotfixes to smooth out election transitions. We are aware that some societies are hitting a deadlock when leadership changes unexpectedly, and our team is actively investigating the scheduler issues behind this
Known Issues on the Radar:
Reward Delivery: We’ve heard your reports about Cultivator level rewards not arriving after "Claim All" is selected. We are actively investigating this to ensure your hard-earned progress is properly credited.
The "Bright Room" Bug: We are looking into reports where rooms with windows remain "bright" around the clock, preventing Seedlings from getting the sleep they need.
Relationships: We know friendship scores getting stuck at 0% is frustrating. Evans and the team have confirmed this is not intended and a fix is in the works.
Marketplace: We are continuing to monitor the issues regarding business wallets and purchasing.
Beta Access: We apologize for the confusion regarding survey emails and invite links. We are working to clear the backlog and ensure our communications regarding access are clear and accurate.
Avesta Archive: The Rhythms of Life
The Lore series continues! We're looking at seasonal events and other burgenoning traditions on Avesta. To understand life on the planet is to understand the festivals that anchor it. From the (somewhat) enigmatic Anima Festival, where Seedlings hunt for genetic "vessels" to help recreate the spark of life, to the community-wide feasts of TauTide, these moments are where our residents move from provisionary workers to active members of an evolving culture.
