A herd of Avestan wild mammals that move as a group, famous for their hop. They originated from Bay 4 on Dezima circa year 46 of the Founders era, after an attack led to a leak of DNA to the planet surface.

Businesses and services

  • Fix: In My Orders, a buy order that fully delivered now shows "Delivered" instead of staying on "Purchased, Delivering" for players with a long trading history.

Societies, roles and governance

  • The Policies tab got a small redesign. Player-made policies are customized via a more minimal interface. If you can vote on policies, a banner shows how many policy ballots are open.

  • The role editors "appointed or elected by" and "among" pickers now include "Any member" or "Any seedling".

  • When editing a role's location access permissions you can now pick "All", "Only these" or "All except".

  • The popup announcing a seedling's new role is redesigned: a short header, the role's permissions each with an icon and a link to the relevant screen, and a "Don't show this for future role changes" checkbox.

  • Fix: The Assign Role window lists only seedlings that can actually take the role, instead of everyone with the ineligible ones greyed out.

  • Fix: Role pickers no longer list Society, Business, Group and Department as if they were seedling roles.

  • Fix: In a Parliamentary Democracy, the Prime Minister and Legislator are now elected by Members of Parliament, not by every Citizen. A newly founded society of this type can now take up to 48 hours to elect its first Prime Minister, since that election waits for the Member of Parliament election first. Existing societies are corrected automatically.

  • Some elections now have an upcoming period and happen less frequently

Plots and territory

  • A plot can now be claimed from far away: place the Frontier Tent on a distant plot and the seedling walks over and assembles it there. Before, distant claims were blocked with an error message.

  • When merging two or more plots, the resulting plot will inherit one of the player-generated names among the original ones.

  • The suggested value when claiming territory is now 500,000 SeedCoin instead of 5,000,000, lowering the suggested daily territory tax from 25,000 to 2,500. This is just the suggested value, it can be set to anything.

Trees

  • Harvesting a large tree now has a 5% chance to drop three to ten Large Green Tree Seeds. Before, it dropped the same seeds that the smaller trees dropped.

  • A planted Large Green Tree Seed now grows through five visibly different stages: sprout, seedling, sapling, adult and mature, each with its own model.

Seedling appearance

  • The models for a couple of clothing items were adjusted, fixing where the clothing gets cut. Specifically some torso assets that were showing the belly unintentionally due to a too-high cut, and pants that were too short.

  • Eyebrow options in the character creator were adjusted, some now don’t have thickness, some have improved fitting with different head-shapes.

Seedlings and autonomy

  • Seedlings give a returning player much longer to react before an autonomous decision is made (like a job application). The reaction window grows from about 10 real minutes to about 2 real hours, and from about 5 real minutes to about 1 real hour for players who have been away longer.

  • Fix: Seedlings whose cultivator never logged into their society now eventually act autonomously (for example applying for jobs) instead of staying at the lowest autonomy level forever.

  • Fix: On busy sectors, seedlings wait sometimes wait less for their next activity to start

  • Fix: A Duck Delivery Drone, or a seedling with no home assigned, that gets stuck failing to find a path is now teleported to its spawn point instead of retrying forever. A seedling with a home still teleports home as before.

Seed Store

  • Fix: After buying Pollen, the success screen's button now opens the Pollen Exchange, where your Pollen actually is, instead of the per-seedling Wallet app.

  • Fix: The Bronze Seedling Slot's store description now states how long it lasts (100 SimYears)

Camera

  • Camera bookmarks get keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+0 jumps to a slot, Ctrl+Shift+digit saves the current view, and Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ cycle through saved bookmarks.

  • Camera bookmarks show the same grid coordinates as the in-world overlay, plus each bookmark's zoom, heading and tilt.

Buildings

  • There is a new building view option called “Diorama” which can be found in the building’s context menu. This view mode cuts away the walls facing the camera, so you can see inside a building while keeping the far walls in place.

Graphics

  • Fix: Semi-transparent UI colours are now computed correctly. Translucent panels, blur and glow effects across menus, the HUD, the character creator and the login background look darker and truer than before, where they were washed out.

User Interface

  • The resource decay display in the Properties and Business windows now shows a progress bar that counts down as stored resources decay, turning red once less than about 35 percent of an item's lifespan remains, with clearer tooltips.

  • The Scheduler can now be opened for a child seedling on desktop, just like on mobile.

  • Fix: Opening the chat window no longer leaves the camera locked, and the text field is focused right away.

  • Fix: Closing a building list or storage view in a busy society now has a reduced performance impact (which happens after 30 seconds).

  • Fix: Grammar fixes on the "Deploy a new Seedling from Dezima?" dialog

  • Fix: If the game hits an unexpected error during initial loading, the player is returned to the start screen instead of being stuck with a frozen window.

  • In the Visibility panel, the "Plots" group is now called "Zones".

Other Fixes

  • Fix: A leak related to audio events has been resolved, which should improve performance and resolve periodic game freezes on extended play sessions.

  • Fix: A resource pile whose hauling was interrupted (for example by a server update) becomes usable again within about 10 real minutes instead of staying reserved for up to 7 real hours.

Mobile app (Seed Companion)

  • It is possible now to look inside buildings in the world view. Tapping a building opens a new panel where one can step between its floors.

  • Direct control actions are now grouped into categories that you can drill into.

  • On iOS it is possible to swipe in from the left edge of the screen to go back in menus that support it.

  • Optimized the world view to improve stability and reduce crashes.
