From a fully voiced guide to the new "Life Thread" visualization, this update provides deeper immersion and more granular control over your colony.
🌟 Major New Features
1. PAM: Your Reimagined Onboarding Buddy
PAM has undergone a massive upgrade to make your first moments on Avesta smoother and more engaging.
Fully Voiced: PAM now features a brand-new generated voice system that brings her personality to life during the initial journey.
Physical Guidance: PAM now moves across the screen to physically highlight specific UI elements, ensuring clear navigation.
Streamlined Objectives: The first seven objectives have been refined with updated dialogue and clearer goals.
Specialized Tutorials: Independent tutorials have been added for the Camera, Controls, Map View, and the Social App.
Visual Refresh: Look out for a brand-new PAM icon and improved movement animations.
2. The Seedling Timeline (The Life Thread)
The "Life Thread" is a new visualization tool located at the bottom of the screen (unlocked with the Scheduler) that allows you to manage your Seedling’s future.
Predictive Planning: View upcoming activities as they move slowly from right to left, providing a clear sense of the passage of time.
Time Management: Gain a better understanding of the relative speed of time and how long remains until the next activity begins.
Direct Editing: Easily see, add, or edit schedule blocks directly from the timeline to keep your Seedling productive.
3. Seedling Objectives & Character Goals
Seedlings now have personal aspirations that guide their growth and reward you with Cultivator XP.
Personality-Driven Goals: Objectives are generated based on a Seedling's unique Traits, Skills, and Interests.
Life Stage Binding: This update introduces 21 objectives for the Young Adult stages.
Aging Refresh: Objectives must be completed within the current Life Stage; they refresh entirely when a Seedling ages up.
4. Advanced Building & Interior Design
Construction and decoration have received a major precision boost.
2x2 Voxel Grid: Building voxels have been updated to a 2x2 grid, allowing for more granular placement and complex designs.
Gridification: Static entities have been "gridified" to align with the new system, improving building awareness and collision.
Objects on Objects: You can now place smaller items (like books or plants) on top of larger ones like tables, desks, and shelves.
Building Awareness: Seedlings are now more aware of structures around them, improving navigation within player-built homes.
5. Room Scoring Phase II: Aesthetics & Cleanliness
Your Seedling’s environment now has a direct impact on their well-being.
Aesthetic Sets: Items now belong to named "Aesthetic Furniture" sets.
Set Bonuses: Using items from the same furniture set provides a multiplied bonus to a room's Aesthetics Score (Cozy or Lovely).
Cleanliness: Rooms now accumulate dirt over time.
Buffs: A "Clean" room provides a morale boost.
Debuffs: A "Filthy" room causes negative effects.
Cleaning Priority: Seedlings will prioritize cleaning if a room is Filthy or if assigned as a priority.
📦 New Content
World Expansion: 36 new Societies have been added, featuring unique descriptions, trade info, and difficulty ratings.
Larger Maps: New 6x6km map layouts are now available with updated archipelago visuals.
