Release Date 04.05.2026
New Features
Live chat moderation Outgoing chat messages pass through an automated moderation filter before other players see them. Flagged words come through as *****. You’ll see your own message right away; it updates to the filtered version after the server weighs in.
Draggable windows
We’ve brought draggable windows back to most of the top HUD interface. Now you can open many windows at the same time and move them around. This includes: PAM chat, Object Catalog, Cultivator Objectives, Cultivator Profile, Pollen Exchange, and Camera Bookmarks. Before this release they closed each other when you opened a new one. If you don’t drag anything out, they will maintain their default positions. One strong use case includes asking PAM a question and looking at the results within the object catalog, alongside each other.
PAM crafting widgets
PAM now includes a widget with Object Catalog information.
Ask PAM a crafting or resource question and she now surfaces up to three inline widgets that also link directly to the matching Object Catalog entry, with a prompt to browse the full catalogue for more. No more landing on the catalogue’s root and having to search again.
Improvements
Initial Onboarding sequence is shorter
The tutorial drops from seven objectives to just three mandatory control focussed objectives:
Say Hello — chat via Seedling Chat
First Command — issue a command via Seedling Chat
First Steps — use direct control to "Go here"
These changes are a precursor to more optional tutorials being added that focus on PAM guidance, rather than forced objective sequences that can fail and lock players out, depending on the state of the society they are currently in. Stay tuned for more.
Conversations & Relationships
Seedlings can talk about what they don’t have yet: a missing residence, a missing friend, an unfilled job, an unlearned skill. Conversations sound more grounded in each Seedling’s actual situation.
Hotfix - 0.2.6.2:Introduced a relationship priority to the schedule. When an appointment is made between 2 Seedlings with this priority, then Seedlings will prioritize relationship activities irrespective of their social need
Hotfix - 0.2.6.2:When auto-scheduling appointments, the relationships system will set this priority. When you are creating appointments manually, make sure to set this priority.
Added new animations for the activities: Mock, Insult, Push, and Start Argument.
Notifications
Red dot badges appear on app icons and tabs to flag important activity in the Social, Wallet, Scheduler, and Jobs apps. Each badge clears when the item has been viewed, or acted on.
Election ballots are now regular notifications instead of a separate HUD tab. They keep their custom countdown and progress ring, and they pin to the top of the list until you act.
A new Critical severity is now used for the things that actually need your attention in real life — Critical notifications and Seedling chat push to mobile; everything else is in-game only.
Context Menu Production UI Improvements
Real-time production progress. The machine context menu now shows live, per-task progress. Multi-item tasks display a stepped progress bar with one segment per item.
Descriptive header states. The header text now reflects what the machine is actively doing during multi-item production and when idle.
Clearer status labels, progress bars, and badges. Renamed for clarity and consistency with the crafting tab.
Activity status row. The machine header activity status icon and description is now consistent with the Crafting tab.
Focus Mode UI
Focus Mode gets a polish pass that lines up with the Health and inherited camera rotation when you enter building focus.
Quality of life changes
Seedling photos pick up personality. Archetype traits now show up in photo descriptions.
Context menu relationship tab improvements and clean-up.
Selfie and group-selfie shutter sounds.
Activities can cross buildings when the agent has building access.
Perk images no longer duplicate after the shuffle animation.
Spaceport icon is now a proper SVG.
Balance Changes
Social
Seedlings drain their social need 2.5× faster than before, encouraging more frequent social interactions.
When seedlings land in Avesta, they start with a lower social need.
Fistbump and Silly Dance are now available at Acquaintance tier instead of Companion tier.
Bug Fixes
Object Catalogue schematic duplication fixed.
Context menu no longer disappears for Seedlings with no relationship.
PAM no longer blocks destruction actions in some cases.
Infants can’t be removed before character creation completes (this used to lose infants).
