🌟 Summary

This update delivers major improvements to conversations, Seedling progression, and building customization, alongside new systems like Life Insurance and a wide range of quality-of-life upgrades. Read on for all the details!


🛠 Major Changes & New Features

Player Progression & Goals

  • Updated Player Objectives:

    • Rewritten “First Command” and “Needy Seeds” objectives for clarity.

    • Added new direct control and character chat actions (e.g. sit on ground, emote).

    • “True Power” and “Super Fistbump” moved to Level 7 and are no longer required for onboarding completion.

    • Added a new Prioritize Interest quest type.

Building, Objects & Customization

  • Redesigned Context Menu: Updated visuals and new room effects.

  • Building Interior Lighting: Added a no-light (black light) option for greater mood control.

  • Locate Container Button: Quickly find containers in your buildings with a new Locate button.


🌱 Seedling Life & Balance Updates

Adjustments that affect Seedling behavior, economy, or quality of life.

Balance Tweaks

  • Balanced Seedling type trait spectrums for more consistent personalities.

  • Tuned objective placement and difficulty within early progression.

  • Removed vending machine production functionality and placed them into a dedicated category.

Content Additions

  • New Housing Assets: Housing Batch 1 added.

  • Various New Art Assets: New furniture, props, machines, VFX, and static models.

  • Books & Bookshelves:

    • Books added to NPC market (Consumables).

    • Large and small bookshelves added, with crafting schematics at the Carpentry Station.

  • Masonry Skill Schematics: New schematic references added to unblock progression.

  • Farming Animations: New sowing animation variations for Seedlings. Refined Personality Types:

    • Added Obsessive Romantic and Wholesome Supporter.

    • Balanced trait values and improved naming clarity.

    • Reduced the rudeness of Combative Rebel while keeping its personality.

Quality of Life Improvements

UI & Interaction Feedback

  • Improved Object Interaction Feedback: Clear explanations now show why objects can’t be moved or packaged.

  • Editable Resource Extraction Tasks: Tasks can now be edited directly; deletion is handled via machines.

  • Chat UI Improvements:

    • Improved auto-scrolling reliability.

    • Better message contrast and visual clarity.

    • Phone usage allowed during conversations.

  • Conversation Mode Polish: Numerous UI improvements to readability and layout.

  • Improved Mini Chat: Stability improvements and better channel handling.

  • Build Mode Controls: Keyboard movement (WASD, +, -) enabled in Build Mode and Real Estate Market.

  • Removed mark for harvest/repair: you no longer need to mark farmed items for harvest or broken objects for repair.

  • Sorting schematics in crafting tasks UI

  • Editable resource extraction tasks: Set up water or ore extraction to stop after reaching certain stock.

  • Resource destination search box: Easily find the right destination to send your resources.

  • Building renaming fixes: No need to re-open the UI to see the new building name.

  • 'Locate container' buttons: Jump directly to any container within a building.

  • Interior palettes previews: See textures and styles before changing room decor.

  • Character creator shoes fixes: Fixed visual issues with shoes in the character creator.

Tutorials & Onboarding

  • Revised Tutorial Flow: New Phase II tutorial with 8 levels; obsolete objectives removed.

  • Tutorial pop-ups skipped for skills unlocked automatically to reduce clutter.

  • Removed outdated tutorial prompts tied to older systems.

Stability & Performance

  • Fixed critical memory issues impacting performance and stability.

  • Major optimizations to room scoring, chat systems, and AI logic.

  • Fixed crashes related to farming fields, Seedling spawning, and missing UI.

  • Improved backend performance, database handling, and startup times.

Seedling AI & Activities

  • Prevented Seedlings from getting stuck in activity loops.

  • Fixed issues with farming priorities, hauling behavior, and self-care activities.

  • Improved context menu feedback when Seedlings are busy or unavailable.

  • Fixed aging, life stage progression, and romantic interaction blockers.

UI & Visual Fixes

  • Fixed numerous UI layout, overflow, contrast, and icon issues across Focus Mode, Build Mode, Objectives, and Store.

  • Corrected character creator visuals and item previews.

  • Resolved notification stacking and visibility issues.

Progression, Objectives & Crafting

  • Fixed multiple objective blockers and incorrect completion conditions.

  • Resolved schematic availability and crafting inconsistencies.

  • Fixed skill book usage edge cases at max levels.

Audio, Input & Notifications

  • Corrected animation timings for baby interactions.

  • Fixed notification delivery issues.

  • Improved input handling consistency across modes.
