Meet the Societies of Avesta

Release Date 31.01.2026

Our Player Advocate Play Session has officially begun, and Avesta is already buzzing with life! Seedlings are finding their footing, and machines are working hard. But most importantly, societies are forming their own cultures, rhythms, and ambitions.

If you’re new to SEED, just returning, or still deciding where you belong, this post is for you! We sat down (figuratively) with several society leaders to hear what they’re building, who they’re building it for, and what kind of Cultivators might feel at home there.

Think of this as a casual stroll through Avesta’s neighborhoods!

Don’t Mind Me

Leader: DavidOfEarth

Don’t Mind Me is designed as a relaxed, low-pressure society for Cultivators who enjoy setting things in motion and letting them play out over time.

The focus here is on creating a space that works well even when players aren’t constantly online. Systems are set up to be efficient and sustainable, so Seedling cycles aren’t wasted, and the society continues to benefit as a whole. It’s a place where progress happens steadily in the background, rather than through constant micromanagement.

This society is especially appealing to:

  • Very casual players who want to participate without feeling rushed

  • Cultivators who like to set things up and then observe how they unfold

  • Players who value calm, hands-off playstyles in a persistent simulation

Station (Statio Vena)

Leader: Willow

Station (Statio Vena) is a society built around full cooperation and shared ownership, or rather, no ownership at all. Everything here is communal. Seedlings level skills together, machines and items are prepared collectively, and progress is focused on readiness rather than rushing.

The society’s current home, the Station, is treated as a place of preparation. Members work together to build skills, generate income, and stockpile the tools needed for future disasters and eventual relocation. The long-term goal is to ensure everyone leaves the spore zone equipped to create the business or lifestyle they want once a new settlement begins.

Station (Statio Vena) is especially welcoming to:

  • New Cultivators who don’t want to be overwhelmed by mechanics

  • Experienced players who understand that progress doesn’t have to be immediate

  • Anyone who prefers a calmer pace and leaning on others to build what they need

Open Society

Leader: Seeks

Open Society began exactly how its name suggests: a group of strangers coming together during Closed Beta and simply… making it work.

With no original leader and a mix of new and returning players, Open Society has grown into a welcoming space where Seedlings are encouraged to pursue their interests quickly, learn systems at their own pace, and contribute in ways that suit them.

Whether you want to collaborate closely or quietly build a small place on the edge of the map, there’s room for you here.

This society is ideal for:

  • New players learning the ropes

  • Returning players looking for familiar faces

  • Cultivators who like flexibility, freedom, and low-pressure collaboration

Concordia

Leader: Seedster

Concordia is built on a simple but ambitious idea: shared progress without forced conformity.

Here, cooperation is encouraged, not demanded. The society focuses on ensuring everyone has the basics: beds, modern machinery, and shared infrastructure, while still leaving space for personal projects and creative freedom.

Long-term, Concordia aims to become a major trading power, using specialization and collaboration to generate wealth that flows back into the community.

You’ll feel at home in Concordia if you:

  • Value teamwork and shared infrastructure

  • Enjoy helping others succeed

  • Want personal ambition and collective growth

Nexus

Leader: Stunner

Nexus is for Cultivators who want independence with purpose.

This society isn’t about hand-holding, but it does provide strong foundations: new members receive land and support to establish their own businesses. From there, the expectation is mutual benefit, independent operations that actively help one another thrive.

Nexus works best for:

  • Players who want to run their own business

  • Cultivators who enjoy trade, specialization, and cooperation between equals

  • People who like structure without micromanagement

Avalon

Leader: Staticsprite

Avalon has been part of Avesta for a very long time, and it carries that history proudly.

This society is all about balance, beauty, and community. Avalon aims to be a place where Cultivators can chase perfection without pressure, build elegant systems, and support one another in creating something lasting.

The tone is chill, modern, and welcoming, with a strong belief that happiness comes from balance, not burnout.

Avalon is perfect for:

  • Cultivators who enjoy polished builds and well-balanced systems

  • Players who want freedom paired with cooperation

  • Anyone looking for a long-term home with good vibes

Finding Your Place

There’s no “right” society in SEED, only the one that fits how you want to play. Whether you’re here to optimize, observe, collaborate, or quietly build something meaningful, Avesta already has a place for you.

And if you’re still unsure? That’s okay too. Our Player Advocate Play Session is just getting started!

Welcome to Avesta. We’re glad you’re here!
