Sabotage, Shortages, and a Growing Threat

After KOJA’s Plaxin Beds finally brought rest to Avesta’s Seedlings, Seed Industries and Quito Foods moved to the next, more urgent task: reintroduce Earth‑origin crops to stabilize food on Obscura Island.

But Axiom moved first.

The rogue group hijacked Seed Industries’ comms and crippled logistics across the Eilo Archipelago, cutting routes, rerouting supplies, and turning coordinated deliveries into chaos. Shortages spread fast. Panic buying, hoarding, and reports of localized famine followed.

This is no longer a random disruption. Axiom’s sabotage is organized, escalating, and strategic, aimed at breaking the social bonds that keep Avesta fed. Their actions are designed to make food into leverage.

A Directive Shift, Corn and Pumpkins at the Frontline

In response to the emergency, Seed Industries issued an amendment to the Provision Directive:

“Due to Axiom terrorist sabotage, tomatoes are no longer part of the Provision Directive. Focus production on corn and pumpkins.”

The result: the battle for Avesta’s food supply now rests on corn and pumpkin, and those fields are becoming contested ground.

With just one week remaining, the Provision Directive hangs in the balance. Axiom’s interference has shifted this from a logistics challenge into a political and moral test: soon, sides will have to be taken. Will societies unite to preserve shared supply chains and resist Axiom’s divide‑and‑conquer tactics, or will fear fracture the colony and hand Axiom the victory they want?

Can Tolaria close the gap? Will Venatoria cement their dominance? Or will an underdog rise and tip the scales, and with it, set the social order for months to come?
