There’s always a lot of chatter around monetization, we get it. So with Early Access just around the corner (July 21st!), we thought now is the time to let you all know the full lineup of ways to get yourself onto planet Avesta! We’ll look at how you can spin up your first Seedlings, and kit them out. We’re going to go deep and be fully transparent here, no fine print buried at the bottom, no mystery boxes. Just what you get, what it costs, and where to grab it. 

First things first: What Even is this Stuff?

Before we talk packs and Pollen, a quick glossary so everything else makes sense:

• Cultivator License – your ticket to planet Avesta. You buy it once, and keep it forever. This is the SEED game client for PC/Mac. There's a companion mobile app too, so you can check on your Seedlings from anywhere.

• Seedlings – the 18-year-old humans you create up in Dezima (Avesta's orbiting space station) and send down to live, group up, and build societies. They are, in the truest sense, your people. 

• Seedling Slots – think of these as the seats at your table. You need an available slot to actively manage a Seedling. Slots come in different tiers and durations.

• Pollen – the premium currency that the player spends money on stuff in their Player Account. Buy it, spend it, live your best Avestan life. (Seedlings use Seedcoin in the in-game economy). Pollen cannot be redeemed for real money.

• Fertility Pill – once consumed, this lets a Seedling have a baby (slot permitting – babies need somewhere to go, and space at the table), by finding another Seedling to make a baby with! (Formerly known as Pollen Pill)

• Cultivator Rewards - When you help Seedlings out you get XP which will level you up as a Cultivator and with those levels come rewards.

All clear? Now we’ve got those sorted, let’s move on to the good stuff.

• +2 Seedling Lives (one-off, on sign-up)

• +5 Seedling Slots, renewing as long as you're subscribed

So that's 2 Seedling Lives when you sign up. The membership is for 5 Seedling slots, which remain active as long as you're subscribed.

The In-Game Pollen Store

Here you can get more slots, Pollen packs, Seedlings and clothing items. In the game you can get this all through progression as well, but for those that want even more, you can always come here.

You can also pick up some outfits in-game for your Seedlings to wear, and remember, the character creator itself comes with 20 free starting uniforms, so nobody shows up to Avesta naked.
